तान् वध्यमानान् दृष्टवाथ भीमो भीमपराक्रम: । अभ्ययात् त्वरित: कर्ण विशिखान् प्रकिरन् रणे
tān vadhyamānān dṛṣṭvātha bhīmo bhīmaparākramaḥ | abhyayāt tvaritaḥ karṇa-viśikhān prakiran raṇe ||
サञ्जयは語った。「その戦士たちが討ち伏せられてゆくのを見て、恐るべき武威をもつビーマは、ためらうことなく疾走し、戦の衝突のただ中でカルナへ矢を雨のように散らした。この瞬間は、戦におけるビーマの護りの憤怒を示す。味方が斬られるとき、彼は逡巡ではなく、迅速で力強い介入で応えるのである。」
