Transliteration

Pañcālāḥ Sṛñjayāś caiva vājināḥ paramaddhipāḥ.

Translation

サンジャヤは言った。「パンチャーラ族とスリンジャヤ族は、彼らの最上の騎馬武者、すなわち大地の至高の君主たちとともに、整然と陣を敷いて立っていた。そこには、戦の道義と政の危機のただ中にあっても、パーンダヴァ方に与する軍勢の組織された力と不屈の決意が示されていた。」
