शासनाद् राक्षसेन्द्रस्य निजघ्नू रथकुञ्जरान् | उस रातमें भयंकर रूपधारी सम्पूर्ण राक्षसोंने भी राक्षसराज अलायुधकी आज्ञासे कितने ही रथों और हाथियोंको नष्ट कर दिया

サञ्जयは言った。「羅刹の王の命により、恐るべき姿の羅刹たちは多くの戦車と戦象を打ち倒し、滅ぼした。」
संजय उवाच

Sañjaya reports that, following the order of the Rākṣasa leader (identified in the accompanying context as Alāyudha), the Rākṣasas launched a fierce assault and destroyed many chariots and elephants on the battlefield.
