Transliteration

hayābhyāṁ ca gajābhyāṁ ca rathābhyāṁ ca padātibhiḥ

Translation

サञ्जयは語った。「馬も象も、戦車も、歩兵も……」――戦場にあらゆる兵種が押し寄せ、戦の圧力が一面を覆うさまを、凝縮して示す言葉である。
