पाण्डवानां प्रभग्नानां कर्णेन निशि सायकै: । मज्जतां धार्तराष्ट्रेषु भव पारं परंतप
pāṇḍavānāṁ prabhagnānāṁ karṇena niśi sāyakaiḥ | majjatāṁ dhārtarāṣṭreṣu bhava pāraṁ paraṁtapa, paraṁtapa ||
風神ヴァーユは言った。「夜、カルナの矢によってパーンダヴァの軍勢は打ち砕かれた。ダールタラーシュトラ軍のただ中で沈みゆく彼らのために、彼岸となれ――敵を焼き尽くす者よ、敵を焼き尽くす者よ！」
