ततस्तु द्रुपदानीकं शरैश्छिन्नतनुच्छदम् । सम्प्राद्रवत् तदा राजन् निशीथे भैरवे सति
tatastu drupadānīkaṁ śaraiś chinnatanuccadam | samprādravat tadā rājan niśīthe bhairave sati ||
サञ्जयは語った。ついで王よ、ドルパダの軍勢は――矢の雨に身も鎧も切り裂かれ――恐るべき真夜中の時刻が支配する中、隊列を失って一斉に潰走した。
