Droṇa’s Withdrawal, Death, and the Kaurava Rout (द्रोणनिधन-प्रसङ्गः)
ततः: सर्वाणि सैन्यानि सेनागोपाश्ष भारत । व्यमुहन्त रणे तत्र तमसा संवृते सति
tataḥ sarvāṇi sainyāni senāgopāś ca bhārata | vyamuhanta raṇe tatra tamasā saṃvṛte sati ||
サンジャヤは言った。「それから、バーラタよ、闇が万物を覆ったとき、すべての軍勢とその将たちは戦場で戦陣（ヴューハ）を組み替えた。その暗がりでは策と生存が第一となり、己が陣営への戦士の義務は、混乱のただ中での迅速かつ規律ある再編として現れた。」
