Droṇa’s Withdrawal, Death, and the Kaurava Rout (द्रोणनिधन-प्रसङ्गः)
नरनागाश्चवमथनं परमं लोमहर्षणम् । द्रोणकर्णकृपा वीरा भीमपार्षतसात्यका:
sañjaya uvāca
naranāgāś ca vamathanaṁ paramaṁ lomaharṣaṇam |
droṇakarṇakṛpā vīrā bhīmapārṣatasātyakāḥ ||
サञ्जयは言った。「そのとき、身の毛もよだつほどの最上の大騒乱が起こった――人と象とが激しく揉み合い、天地を揺るがす。ドローナ、カルナ、クリパ、ビーマ、ドリシュタデュムナ（パールシャタ）、そしてサーティヤキの勇士たちが、その恐るべき激突のただ中にあった。」
