दुःशासन-सहदेव-संक्षोभः; भीम-राधेय-गदायुद्धम्; द्रोण-पार्थ-अस्त्रसंग्रामः

भारद्वाजं शरौघाभ्यां महद्भ्यामभ्यवर्षताम् | तो तथा सूंजयाश्वैव पञ्चालाश्न महौजस:
Bhāradvājaṃ śaraughābhyāṃ mahadbhyām abhyavarṣatām | to tathā saṃjayāś caiva pañcālāś ca mahaujasaḥ ||
サンジャヤは語った。彼らはバールドヴァージャの子（ドローナ）に、力も数も甚だしい矢の雨を降らせた。同じく高き魂をもつパーンチャーラ勢も攻勢を強め、斉射で彼を覆い尽くした—暴力と義務という道義の重みにさらされつつ、武勇が試される、戦の容赦なき推進力を描く光景である。
