Chapter 161
दुर्योधन उवाच अश्वत्थामन् प्रसीदस्व क्षन्तुमहसि मानद । कोप: खलु न कर्तव्य: सूतपुत्रं कथंचन,दुर्योधन बोला--दूसरोंको मान देनेवाले (भाई) अश्वत्थामा! प्रसन्न होओ। तुम्हें क्षमा करना चाहिये। सूतपुत्र कर्णपर तुम्हें किसी प्रकार भी क्रोध करना उचित नहीं है
duryodhana uvāca | aśvatthāman prasīdasva kṣantum arhasi mānada | kopaḥ khalu na kartavyaḥ sūtaputraṃ kathaṃcana ||
ドゥルヨーダナは言った。「アシュヴァッターマよ、鎮まれ。人に名誉を与える者よ、赦すべきだ。まことに、御者の子カルナに対して、いかなる形でも怒りを向けてはならぬ。」
