फल चाशु प्रयच्छन्ति बीजमुप्तमृताविव । 'शूरवीर वर्षाकालके मेघोंकी तरह सदा गरजते हैं और ठीक ऋतुमें बोये हुए बीजके समान शीघ्र ही फल भी देते हैं

Transliteration

phalaṁ cāśu prayacchanti bījam uptam ṛtāv iva |

Translation

サञ्जयは語った。「彼らは速やかに果を与える――まさに、時節にかなって播かれた種がほどなく実を結ぶように。」戦の物語が帯びる倫理の枠内で、この一句は真の勇の確かな効き目を讃える。時を得て、しかるべき所に尽くされた努力は、決して報いを遅らせない。
