dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | tasmin praviṣṭe durdharṣe sūryajayanamitaujasi | amṛṣyamāṇe saṃrabdhe kā vo 'bhūd vai matis tadā ||

ドリタラーシュトラは言った。「抗しがたい戦士—無量の威力をもつスूर्यジャヤ—が戦場に踏み入り、見たものに耐えかねて憤怒に燃え上がったとき、その瞬間、おまえたちの決意はいかなるものであったか。」
