सा निशी्थे महाराज सेनादृश्यत भारती

sā niśīthe mahārāja senā dṛśyata bhāratī

サンジャヤは言った。「大王よ、夜の深みにおいて、バーラタの軍勢が(再び)見えるようになった。」それは、闇と恐れと警戒が知覚を左右し、不確かさの中で将たちに責任ある判断を迫る、緊迫した夜戦の一刻を示している。
