उपायैः पूर्ववधकथनम् / Strategic Justifications for Prior Eliminations

मृदज्रानकनिह्वदिर्सझरै: पटहैस्तथा

mṛdaṅgānaka-nihvādaiḥ sa-jharaiḥ paṭahais tathā

サンジャヤは言った。「轟くような喧噪が起こった——ムリダンガ(mṛdaṅga)とアーナカ(ānaka)、ジャラ(jhara)、そして同じくパタハ(paṭaha)の戦鼓の響きである。」この偈は、戦場の楽器が集団の決意と威圧を増幅し、争いの激化と、戦の勢いが帯びる道義の重さを告げることを示す。
