यादृशं कृतवानद्य त्वमेक: शत्रुतापन: । 'युद्धमें कोई भी ऐसा पराक्रम नहीं कर सकता, जैसा कि आज तुमने अकेले ही कर दिखाया है। वास्तवमें तुम शत्रुओंको संताप देनेवाले हो
yādṛśaṁ kṛtavān adya tvam ekaḥ śatrutāpanaḥ | yuddhe na kaścid evaṁ vīryaṁ kartuṁ śaknoti yathā tvayā adyaikena kṛtam | vastutas tvaṁ śatrūṇāṁ santāpa-karaḥ ||
サンジャヤは言った。「おお、敵を灼く者よ。今日おまえが—ただ一人で—成し遂げた業に並ぶ武勇を、戦場で示せる者は誰もいない。まことにおまえは、敵に灼けつく苦悩をもたらす者だ。」
