नारिं जित्वातिकत्थन्ते न च जल्पन्ति दुर्वच:
nāriṃ jitvā'tikatthante na ca jalpanti durvacaḥ
サञ्जयは言った。「女に勝っただけで、彼らは過度に誇り立てる。しかも舌の荒いその男たちは、しかるべき節度をもって語ることができぬ。この偈は、空虚な豪語と残酷な言葉を戒め、真の勇とダルマは自制と敬意ある振る舞いにこそ現れ、弱き者を辱めることにはないと示している。」
