तादृशं भुवि नो युद्ध दिवि वा श्रुतमित्युत । राजन! मैंने इस पृथ्वीपर या स्वर्गमें देवताओं, गन्धर्वों, असुरों तथा राक्षसोंका भी वैसा युद्ध नहीं सुना था
tādṛśaṁ bhuvi no yuddhaṁ divi vā śrutam ity uta | rājan naivaṁ mayā pṛthivyāṁ vā svarge vā devatā-gandharvāsura-rākṣasānām api tādṛśaṁ yuddhaṁ śrutaṁ na hi ||
サンジャヤは言った。「王よ、このような戦いは、地上においても、天界においてさえ、いまだかつて聞いたことがありません。まことに、神々、ガンダルヴァ、アスラ、ラクシャサの間においてすら、これほどの争いを聞いたことがないのです。」
