अध्याय १४८ — कर्णप्रभावः, धृष्टद्युम्नस्य विरथता, तथा घटोत्कच-आह्वानम्
Chapter 148: Karṇa’s Pressure, Dhṛṣṭadyumna Unhorsed, and the Summoning of Ghaṭotkaca
तत: सर्वे महाराज तव योधा जयैषिण: । सिषिचु: शरधाराभि: पाकशासनिमाहवे,महाराज! उस समय विजयकी अभिलाषा रखनेवाले आपके समस्त योद्धा युद्धस्थलमें इन्द्रकुमार अर्जुनका बाणोंकी धाराओंसे अभिषेक करने लगे
tataḥ sarve mahārāja tava yodhā jayaiṣiṇaḥ | siṣicuḥ śaradhārābhiḥ pākaśāsanim āhave ||
サञ्जयは言った。「そのとき大王よ、勝利を渇望する汝の全軍の戦士たちは、戦場にてパーカシャーサニ（インドラの子アルジュナ）に向かい、矢の雨を注ぎかけた。まるでアビシェーカ（灌頂）のごとき光景であったが、それは聖なる戴冠ではなく、鉄と死による苛烈な塗油であり、勝利への渇きが儀礼の像を破滅の器へと変えていた。」
