वीक्षमाणे ततस्तस्मिन् सिन्धुराजे दिवाकरम्
vīkṣamāṇe tatastasmīn sindhurāje divākaram
サञ्जヤは語った――そのとき、シンドゥの王が見上げると、太陽（ディヴァーカラ）が姿を現した。戦の流れの中の不吉な一瞬であり、日の移ろいさえも、戦の道義的重圧のただ中で武者と王が読み取る徴となった。
