परिश्रान्तं गतं भूमौ कृत्वा कर्म सुदुष्करम् । तवान्तेवासिनं वीरं पालयार्जुन सात्यकिम्,“वह अत्यन्त दुष्कर कर्म करके परिश्रमसे चूर-चूर हो पृथ्वीपर गिर गया है। अर्जुन! वीर सात्यकि तुम्हारा ही शिष्य है। उसकी रक्षा करो
pariśrāntaṃ gataṃ bhūmau kṛtvā karma suduṣkaram | tavāntevāsinam vīraṃ pālayārjuna sātyakim ||
サンジャヤは言った。「『きわめて困難な業を成し遂げたのち、彼は疲労し尽くして地に倒れた。アルジュナよ、勇士サーティヤキはおまえ自身の弟子である。守ってやれ。』」
संजय उवाच
Even in the chaos of war, dharma expresses itself as responsibility: Arjuna is reminded that bonds of discipleship and alliance create a moral duty to protect a comrade who has become helpless after performing a near-impossible feat.
After carrying out an extremely difficult action on the battlefield, Sātyaki collapses from exhaustion. Sañjaya reports this and urges Arjuna to intervene and protect Sātyaki, emphasizing that Sātyaki is Arjuna’s own disciple and thus under his care.
