Adhyāya 140: Rātriyuddhe Droṇa-prāpti-prayatnaḥ

सुवर्णविकृतैश्चापि गदामुसलपट्टिशै: । ध्वजैश्न विविधाकारै: शक्तिभि: परिघैरपि
suvarṇavikṛtaiś cāpi gadāmusalapaṭṭiśaiḥ | dhvajaiś ca vividhākāraiḥ śaktibhiḥ parighair api ||
サञ्जयは言った。「さらに黄金で作り飾られた武器もあった――ガダー（棍棒）、ムサラ（杵棒）、パッティシャ（斧槍）と槍。形もさまざまな軍旗が立ち、またシャクティ（投槍）やパリガ（鉄棒）も備わって、戦の恐るべき武装が余すところなく示されていた。」
