Transliteration

tasya kārṣṇāyasaṁ varma hemacitraṁ maharddhimat

Translation

サञ्जयは言った。彼の鎧は黒鉄で鍛えられ、黄金の象嵌が豊かに施されて、まばゆい威光を放っていた――戦場での恐るべき防護を示すと同時に、武人の務めに伴う王者の豪奢をも物語っていた。
