तथैव वृष्णिवीरे5पि सात्वते युद्धदुर्मदे । अतिभारे नियुक्तश्न मया शैनेयनन्दन:,'शत्रुसूदन अर्जुनपर जैसा मेरा प्रेम है, वैसा ही रणदुर्मद वृष्णिवंशी वीर सात्यकिपर भी है। मैंने शिनिवंशका आनन्द बढ़ानेवाले सात्यकिको महान् कार्यभार सौंप रखा था
tathaiva vṛṣṇivīre 'pi sātvatē yuddha-durmade | atibhāre niyuktaś ca mayā śaineya-nandanaḥ ||
サञ्जयは言った。「同じく私は、戦の熱に酔うサートヴァタ系のヴリシュニ勇士サーティヤキにも、そのままの愛情を抱いている。シニの子にして一族を歓ばせる者に、私はきわめて重い責務を託していた。」
