Duryodhana–Karna Dialogue on Vyūha-bheda and Daiva
अथैनं पज्चविंशत्या सायकानां समार्पयत् । अवप्लुत्य रथाच्चैद्यो गदामादाय सत्वर:
athainaṁ pañcaviṁśatyā sāyakānāṁ samārpayat | avaplutya rathāc caidyo gadām ādāya satvaraḥ ||
サञ्जयは語った。ついで彼は二十五本の矢の一斉射で相手を射抜いた。チェーディの王は戦車から跳び降り、急ぎ棍棒（ガダー）を掴む—飛び道具の戦から白兵へと移るのである。戦の熱気の中では、技のみならず胆力と決意もまた試される。
