सैन्यं द्रवति चायुष्मन् कौरवेयं समन्तत: । पश्य योधान् रणे भग्नान् धावतो वै ततस्तत:
saṃjaya uvāca
sainyaṃ dravati cāyuṣman kauraveyaṃ samantataḥ | paśya yodhān raṇe bhagnān dhāvato vai tatastataḥ ||
サンジャヤは言った。「長寿の御方よ、クル族の軍勢は四方で崩れ、流れるように退いている。見よ――戦で打ち砕かれた戦士たちが、あちらこちらへ逃げ散っている。」
