भूरिश्रवसः गर्हा, प्रायोपवेशः, सात्यकिकृतशिरच्छेदः

इति श्रीमहाभारते द्रोणपर्वणि जयद्रथवधपर्वणि सात्यकिकप्रवेशे दुर्योधनकृतवर्मपराजये षोडशाधिकशततमो<ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate droṇaparvaṇi jayadrathavadhaparvaṇi sātyakikapraveśe duryodhanakṛtavarmaparājaye ṣoḍaśādhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
かくして『シュリー・マハーバーラタ』の「ドローナ・パルヴァ」において—とりわけ「ジャヤドラタ討伐」の段にて—サーティヤキが戦陣へ突入し、ドゥルヨーダナとクリトヴァルマンが敗れるさまを述べた第百十六章はここに終わる。この章末の詞（コロフォン）は、戦記の道徳的転回を告げる。すなわち、勇気と不屈の決意は敵の陣形を破り、驕りに支えられた抗拒は反転の報いを受ける—戦場におけるアダルマ（不義）の帰結が、いよいよ深まる中で。
