Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 114 — Karṇa–Bhīmasena Missile Exchange, Disarmament, and Arjuna’s Intervention
संनद्धमनुगच्छन्तं दृष्टवा भीमं स सात्यकि: । अभिनन्द्राब्रवीद् वीरस्तदा हर्षकरं वच:,उस समय भीमसेनको कवच आदिसे सुसज्जित होकर अपने पीछे आते देख उनका अभिनन्दन करके वीर सात्यकिने उनसे यह हर्षवर्धक वचन कहा --
saṃnaddham anugacchantaṃ dṛṣṭvā bhīmaṃ sa sātyakiḥ | abhinandya abravīd vīras tadā harṣakaraṃ vacaḥ ||
サञ्जयは言った。そのときサーティヤキは、ビーマが甲冑を整え、武装して後ろから従って来るのを見て、称えて迎え、士気を高める言葉をかけた—戦と義務の重圧の中で決意を強めるための励ましであった。
संजय उवाच
In the midst of righteous struggle, steadfast preparedness (being fully equipped) and mutual encouragement among allies sustain dharma and morale; ethical action in war is supported not only by strength but also by uplifting speech and solidarity.
Sañjaya narrates that Sātyaki notices Bhīma coming behind him, fully armed. Sātyaki greets Bhīma approvingly and begins to address him with heartening words, setting up the next lines where the content of that encouragement is given.
