Transliteration

asmiṁstu kila sammarde grāhme vividham āyudham

Translation

サञ्जयは語った。「まさにその戦の押し合いへし合いのただ中に、村がひとつ出来たかのような人の密集があったという。そこでは種々の武器が奪い取られ、振るわれていた——戦の混沌たる濃密さを映す光景であり、分別は圧され、暴力の道義的な重みがあらわに浮かび上がるのである。」
