विनाशमुपयास्यन्ति मच्छरौघनिपीडिता: । 'दूसरोंके बलपर जीनेवाले दुर्योधनने इन सब लोगोंका सदा आदसरपूर्वक भरण-पोषण किया है; परंतु ये मेरे बाणसमूहोंसे पीड़ित होकर आज विनष्ट हो जायँगे
vināśam upayāsyanti maccharaugha-nipīḍitāḥ | dūṣaroke balapara jīnevāle duryodhanane in sab logoṅkā sadā ādara-sapūrvaka bharaṇa-poṣaṇa kiyā hai; parantu ye mere bāṇa-samūhoṅse pīḍita hokara āja vinaṣṭa ho jāyaṅge |
サञ्जयは言った。「我が矢の群れに押し潰され、彼らは滅びへと赴く。ドゥルヨーダナ—他者の力に寄りかかって生きる者—は、外面の敬意と扶持とでこの者どもを久しく養ってきた。だが今日、我が矢の連射に苦しめられ、彼らは滅ぼされるであろう。」
