तथैव धनुरायच्छत्‌ पार्थ: शत्रुविनाशन:

tathaiva dhanur āyacchat pārthaḥ śatru-vināśanaḥ

サञ्जयは言った。同じく、敵を滅ぼすパールタ(アルジュナ)は弓を取り、引き絞った――戦の苛烈な要請の中、規律ある決意をもって敵に対峙するためである。
