Arrow-storm Engagement
तथैव सिंहलाडूगूलं द्रोणपुत्रस्य भारत
tathaiva siṁhalāḍūgūlaṁ droṇaputrasya bhārata
サンジャヤは言った。「同じくして、バーラタよ、ドローナの子の獅子のごとき勇猛と猛き威力が現れた。」

The verse highlights how epic narration frames martial power through animal metaphors (lion-like), reminding readers that battlefield excellence is admired yet ethically ambivalent—strength can serve dharma or intensify adharma depending on intent and restraint.
Sañjaya continues his report to Dhṛtarāṣṭra, describing the formidable, lion-like force or prowess associated with Droṇa’s son Aśvatthāman, as part of the ongoing depiction of combat dynamics in Droṇa Parva.
