भीष्मशिबिरगमनम् — Duryodhana’s Visit to Bhīṣma’s Camp and the Command Appeal

तत्र भारत भीष्मस्य रणे दृष्टवा पराक्रमम्‌ | अत्यद्भुतमपश्याम शक्रस्येव पराक्रमम्‌,भारत! हमने उस युद्धमें भीष्मका इन्द्रके समान अत्यन्त अद्भुत पराक्रम देखा था

tatra bhārata bhīṣmasya raṇe dṛṣṭvā parākramam | atyadbhutam apaśyāma śakrasyeva parākramam ||

サンジャヤは言った。「その場で、バーラタよ、戦場におけるビーシュマの武勇を目の当たりにして、我らは驚異を見た。彼の勇猛は、まさしくシャクラ(インドラ)そのもののごとかった。」
