भीष्म-युधिष्ठिर-संमर्दः

इस प्रकार श्रीमह्या भारत भीष्मपर्वके अन्तर्गत भीष्मवधपर्वमें संकुलयुद्धविषयक अठहत्तरवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārate bhīṣmaparvaṇi antargate bhīṣmavadhaparvaṇi saṅkulayuddhaviṣayakaḥ aṣṭāsaptatitamo 'dhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ
かくして、聖なる『マハーバーラタ』の「ビーシュマ・パルヴァ」において、ビーシュマ討伐の小区分に属する、「錯綜し密に入り交じる戦い」を主題とする第七十八章は終わった。この結語の奥書は物語の転換を告げ、戦の描写の一まとまりと、その道義的な重みの完結を示す—義務と策謀、そして争いの悲劇的代償が交わるところである。
