तान् प्रयातान् महेष्वासानभिमन्युपुरोगमान् | भीमसेन भयाविष्टा धृष्टद्युम्नविमोहिता
sañjaya uvāca | tān prayātān maheṣvāsān abhimanyupurogāmān | bhīmasena-bhayāviṣṭā dhṛṣṭadyumna-vimohitā ||
サンジャヤは言った。アビマンニュを先頭に、強弓の勇士たちが進撃すると、人の主よ、あなたの軍はビーマセーナへの恐怖に囚われ、ドリシュタデュムナの矢により混乱へ投げ込まれた。ゆえにアビマンニュ率いる突進の英雄たちを阻むことができず、酔いと昏迷に沈む女のように、道の上に黙して立ち尽くし、なす術もなかった。
