“महाबली भीम मेरे सखा और सम्बन्धी हैं। वे हम लोगोंके भक्त हैं और मैं भी उन शत्रुसूदन भीमका भक्त हूँ ।।
mahābalī bhīma me sakhā ca sambandhī ca; te asmākaṃ bhaktāḥ, aham api śatrusūdana-bhīmasya bhaktaḥ. so 'haṃ tatra gamiṣyāmi yatra yāto vṛkodaraḥ; niṣṇantaṃ māṃ ripūn paśya dānavān iva vāsavam.
サンジャヤは言った。「大力のビーマは我が友であり、また親族でもある。彼は我らに忠誠を尽くし、私もまた、敵を砕くそのビーマに忠誠を尽くす。ゆえに、ヴリコーダラの赴いたところへ、私も赴こう。見よ、私が敵を斬り伏せるさまを——かつてヴァーサヴァ（インドラ）がダーナヴァ族を討ったように。」
