भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)
शुशुभाते तदा तौ तु शैनेयकुरुपुड़वी । अमावास्यां गतौ यद्वत् सोमसूर्यो नभस्तले
śuśubhāte tadā tau tu śaineya-kuru-puṅgavau | amāvāsyāṁ gatau yadvat soma-sūryau nabhas-tale ||
サンジャヤは言った。その時、シャイネーヤ（サーティヤキ）と、クル族の俊英アビマンニュは一台の戦車に並び、あたかも新月の夜に月と太陽が同じ天の一処に現れるかのように、共に燦然と輝いていた。
