अनीकव्यूहप्रतिव्यूहः

Counter-deployment of Divisions and the Opening Tumult

पुरोहिता: शत्रुवधं वदन्तो ब्रह्मर्षिसिद्धा: श्रुतववन्त एनम्‌ । जप्यैश्न मन्त्रैश्न महौषधीभि: समन्ततः स्वस्त्ययनं ब्रुवन्त:

sañjaya uvāca | purohitāḥ śatruvadhaṃ vadanto brahmarṣi-siddhāḥ śrutavanto enam | japyaiś ca mantraiś ca mahauṣadhībhiḥ samantataḥ svastyayanaṃ bruvantaḥ ||

サンジャヤは言った。経典に通じた祭官たちは、ブラフマリシ(梵仙)と成就者シッダたちと共に、敵を討ち滅ぼすための祝福を宣した。聖なるジャパの誦持、霊験あらたかなマントラ、そして優れた薬草によって、四方より吉祥の護りを招き、彼の安泰と勝利を祈願した。
