Counter-deployment of Divisions and the Opening Tumult
अनीकमध्ये तिष्ठन्तं राजपुत्रं दुरासदम् | अब्रवीद् भरतश्रेष्ठं गुडाकेशं जनार्दन:
anīkamadhye tiṣṭhantaṃ rājaputraṃ durāsadam | abravīd bharataśreṣṭhaṃ guḍākeśaṃ janārdanaḥ ||
そのときジャナールダナ（聖なるクリシュナ）は、戦列のただ中に立つ、攻め難き王子アルジュナ—バラタ族随一にして眠りを征する者—に向かい、次のように語りかけた。
