ऋषभाक्षा महेष्वासाश्वमूमुखगता बभु: | पृष्ठगोपास्तु भीष्मस्य पुत्रास्तव नराधिप । दुःशासनो दुर्विषहो दुर्मुखो दुःसहस्तथा
sañjaya uvāca |
ṛṣabhākṣā maheṣvāsāśvamūmukhagatā babhuḥ |
pṛṣṭhagopās tu bhīṣmasya putrās tava narādhipa |
duḥśāsano durviṣaho durmukho duḥsahas tathā |
vivimśatiś citrasenaś ca mahāratho vikarṇaḥ |
satyavrataḥ purumitraḥ jayaḥ bhūriśravāḥ śalaḥ |
eteṣām anuyāyinaś ca rathā viṃśatisāhasrāḥ ||
サンジャヤは言った。「雄牛のように大きな眼をもつ偉大な弓の達人たちは、敵の前面に向かって立ち、見事な威容を示していた。王よ、ビーマの後陣を守っていたのは、汝の子ら――ドゥフシャーサナ、ドゥルヴィシャハ、ドゥルムカ、ドゥフサハ――さらにヴィヴィンシャティ、チトラセーナ、偉大なる車戦士ヴィカルナ、またサティヤヴラタ、プルミトラ、ジャヤ、ブーリシュラヴァー、シャラ、そしてその従者たち、二万の車兵であった。」
