iti śrīmahābhārate bhīṣmaparvaṇi bhīṣmavadhaparvaṇi bhīṣmopadhānadāne viṁśatyadhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
かくして『シュリー・マハーバーラタ』の『ビーシュマ・パルヴァ』—とりわけビーシュマの落下を語る段—において、ビーシュマに支えとなる備えを捧げることを述べた第百二十章は終わる。この章末の詞は章の閉じを告げ、戦の暴力のただ中にあっても、それが義務と慈悲の行いであることを示す。
संजय उवाच
