स कृत्वा सुमहत् कर्म तस्मिन् वै दशमे5हनि । सेनयोरन्तरे तिष्ठन् प्रगुहीतशरासन:,दसवें दिन यह महान् पराक्रम करके हाथमें धनुष लिये वे दोनों सेनाओंके बीचमें खड़े हो गये
sa kṛtvā sumahat karma tasmin vai daśame 'hani | senayor antare tiṣṭhan pragṛhītaśarāsanaḥ ||
サञ्जयは語った。「その十日目に、まことに大いなる業を成し遂げたのち、彼は弓を固く執り、両軍のあいだに立った――義務と勇気、そして戦の代価とが真正面から向き合う、その只中に。」
