अभ्यवर्तन्त ते पुत्रा: सर्वे सैन्यपुरस्कृता: । इच्छन्तो निधन युद्धे स्वर्ग कृत्वा परायणम्
abhyavartanta te putrāḥ sarve sainyapuraskṛtāḥ | icchanto nidhanaṃ yuddhe svargaṃ kṛtvā parāyaṇam ||
サञ्जयは言った。「そのとき彼らの息子たちは皆、軍勢を先頭に立てて再び戦へと引き返した――戦場での死を求め、天界を究極の帰着として定めていたのである。」
