भीष्मस्य जलप्रार्थना — अर्जुनस्य पर्जन्यास्त्रप्रयोगः — दुर्योधनं प्रति सन्ध्युपदेशः

विशोक प्रेक्ष्य निर्भिन्नं भीमसेन: प्रतापवान् । मद्रराजं त्रिभिर्बाणैर्बाह्लोरुगसि चार्पयत्
viśokaṃ prekṣya nirbhinnaṃ bhīmasenaḥ pratāpavān | madrarājaṃ tribhir bāṇair bāhlor ugasi cārpayat ||
サンジャヤは言った。御者ヴィショーカが深手を負ったのを見て、剛勇のビーマセーナは武人の決意に燃え、マドラ王シャリヤに三本の矢を放ち、その両腕と胸に突き立てた――味方を守り、受けた傷を戦場で即座に報いるための、烈しい報復であった。
