दुर्योधनार्थ योत्स्यामि सत्यमेतदिति प्रभो । मेरी भीष्मजीके साथ एक शर्त हो चुकी है। उन्होंने कहा है कि “मैं युद्धमें तुम्हारे हितके लिये सलाह दे सकता हूँ

Transliteration

duryodhanārthaṃ yotsyāmi satyam etad iti prabho |

Translation

ユディシュティラは言った。「主よ、私はドゥルヨーダナのために戦う――これは真実です。」文脈において彼は、ビ―シュマが以前に示した条件を伝えている。すなわち、ビ―シュマはパーンダヴァの益となる助言は与え得るが、彼らのために武器を取ることはない。戦場では、ただドゥルヨーダナのためにのみ戦う、というのである。
