Adhyāya 104 — Śikhaṇḍin-puraskāraḥ (Śikhaṇḍin as Vanguard) and Bhīṣma’s Counter-Advance

सर्वस्त्रविदमेयात्मा वारयामास फाल्गुनि: । उस राक्षसने और भी बहुत-सी जिन-जिन मायाओंका प्रयोग किया, उन सबको सम्पूर्ण अस्त्रोंके ज्ञाता अनन्त आत्मबलसे सम्पन्न अभिमन्युने नष्ट कर दिया

sañjaya uvāca | sarvāstravid ameyātmā vārayāmāsa phālguniḥ |

サञ्जयは語った。アビマンニュ—あらゆる武器に通じ、測り知れぬ精神を備える者—は、その欺きの攻勢を食い止め、退けた。羅刹がさらにいかなる幻の策を弄しようとも、尽きぬ内なる力と武器の全き知識を具えたアビマンニュは、それらをことごとく滅した。
