धनं चास्मै ददुर्भूरि प्रीयमाणा महारथा: । उन सब लोगोंने प्रेमवश उसे छातीसे लगा लिया और उसका यथोचित सत्कार किया। इतना ही नहीं, बश्रुवाहनपर प्रसन्न हुए उन पाण्डव महारथियोंने उसे बहुत धन दिया ।।

Transliteration

dhanaṃ cāsmai dadur bhūri prīyamāṇā mahārathāḥ |

Translation

心から満ち足りた大車戦士たちは、彼に多くの財を与えた。情に動かされて抱きしめ、しかるべき作法で厚く遇した――それは戦いののちの感謝と和解を示す行いであり、武勇と正しい道への敬意を確かめるものであった。
