द्रौपदी च सुभद्रा च याश्षाप्यन्याडददु: स्त्रिय: । ऊपषतुस्तत्र ते देव्यौ महाहशयनासने

Transliteration

draūpadī ca subhadrā ca yāś cāpy anyā dadur striyaḥ | upāviśaṁs tatra te devyau mahāśayanāsane ||

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。ドラウパディーとスバドラーは、ほかの女たちとともに、それぞれの側からさまざまな贈り物を捧げた。ついで、その二人の高貴な夫人は、豪奢に整えられた寝台の座へと着いた――敬虔な施与と正しい饗応によって儀礼を支える、王家の作法と寛大さの象徴である。
