स यज्ञ: शुशुभे तस्य साक्षाद् देवर्षिसंकुल: । गन्धर्वगणसंगीत: प्रनृत्तो5प्सरसां गणै:
sa yajñaḥ śuśubhe tasya sākṣād devarṣi-saṅkulaḥ | gandharva-gaṇa-saṅgītaḥ pranṛtto ’psarasāṃ gaṇaiḥ ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。その祭儀は、まるで天の聖仙（デーヴァ・リシ）たちの群れが目に見えて満ち集うかのように、燦然と輝いていた。さらにガンダルヴァの一団が奏でる甘美な楽の音と、アプサラスの群れが舞う舞踊とによって、その壮麗はいよいよ増し加わった—それは、この儀礼が聖なる秩序にかなって執り行われ、王者の威徳にふさわしいことの徴であった。
