Ulūpī’s Disclosure and the Saṃjīvana-Maṇi: Arjuna’s Restoration
na janitrī tathāsyeyaṁ mama yā preṣyavat sthitā | śrūyatāṁ yad yathā cedaṁ mayā sarva viceṣṭitam ||
The verse emphasizes accountability and truthful narration: when blame or suspicion arises, one should clarify facts and one’s conduct directly, while also framing relationships in terms of duty and rightful authority.
Arjuna begins to explain the situation and his own actions, asserting that the woman referred to as his mother is not acting independently but remains under his direction, and he asks the listeners to hear the full account of what he did and how.
