एवं शुश्राव वदतां गिरो जिष्णुरुदारधी: । स्वस्ति ते<स्तु व्रजारिष्टं पुनश्चैहीति भारत
evaṁ śuśrāva vadatāṁ giro jiṣṇur udāra-dhīḥ | svasti te 'stu vrajāriṣṭaṁ punaś caihīti bhārata ||
ヴァイシャṁパーヤナは語った。こうしてアルジュナ――高雅な知恵を備え、征服されぬ者――は、人々の間で交わされる言葉を聞いた。「バーラタよ、汝に吉祥あれ。災いなく安らかに行き、そして再び健やかに帰り来たれ。」この詩句は、公の祝福として、吉兆と守護、そして務めを果たした後の無事の帰還を願う正しき希求を示している。
